The Rainbow Room of Tarrant County
What is the Rainbow Room?
The Rainbow Room is a ray of hope for abused and neglected children. It is an on-site, emergency resource room stocked with items to assist Child Protective Services Caseworkers in helping families and children in crisis. In some cases, the Rainbow Room is able to provide families with supplies so that children can remain safe in their homes while CPS works with the family.
Why do we need a Rainbow Room?
“The Rainbow Room provides direct access to the basic items necessary to help reduce risk and ensure safety for the children that are served by Child Protective Services Caseworkers. This immediate access allows the Caseworker to assist the families and connect them with the resources necessary to sustain the safety of the children in their households.”
